Tetrault Beef Stew

Serves: 4-6 we like having leftovers | Prep time: 10 Mins

Ingredients:

1.5lbs stew meat

1 bay leaf

potatoes

carrots

celery

salt/pepper

seasonings: I like some parsley, oregano, garlic

Steps:

  1. Put some oil in a big pan, I use a dutch oven, and brown the beef
  2. Add 3 cups of water to pan and let it cook for 2 hours on simmer. Just the meat and water. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Add chopped potatoes, celery, carrots.
  4. Add bay leaf.
  5. Let cook for one hour on low.
  6. Remove bay leaf. Add seasoning as needed.
  7. Serve!
