Ingredients:
1.5lbs stew meat
1 bay leaf
potatoes
carrots
celery
salt/pepper
seasonings: I like some parsley, oregano, garlic
Steps:
- Put some oil in a big pan, I use a dutch oven, and brown the beef
- Add 3 cups of water to pan and let it cook for 2 hours on simmer. Just the meat and water. Add salt and pepper.
- Add chopped potatoes, celery, carrots.
- Add bay leaf.
- Let cook for one hour on low.
- Remove bay leaf. Add seasoning as needed.
- Serve!
